He was initiated into music at a tender age of 3 years by his father Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan, a vocalist of international repute. Helater trained under the worthy guidance of his late grandfather PadmashriUstad Ghulam Sadiq Khan, who was one of the finest Hindustani classical vocalists of India.

Gifted with the sonorous and mellifluous voice, Ghulam Hasan Khan specializes in Khayal style which highlights the systematic ‘Badhat’ of Raga, intricate and graceful fast ‘Sapat’ Taans of full three octaves.
